"A Cherry Berry Day for Courtney"

Our Destination

So, it was Courtney and Mommies Special Day to hang out together....and it turned out to be a Fantastic Day at that.  When asking Courtney what she wanted to do , she said, "I just want to do something Fun and Simple."  "I think we should go to "Cherry Berry" and then go hang out at the mall! I thought oh this would be a great idea.  So we loaded up and headed for our destination.  When we got to "Cherry Berry"  Courtney decided on her flavor of Yogurt: Cookie Monster (aka: a new name for Cookies and Cream) and then topped it off with chocolate chips and oreo pieces .  Boy it sure looked Yummy!  Mommy chose two of  her favorites: Rocky Road and Cheesecake.  They were really good , too!! As we sat and ate our yogurt we had grood  conversation and lots of great laughs!  After our Yogurt we headed for the mall and walked around.  We did lots of window shopping, but no actual buying.  Overall our Special time together went very well!!  I can't believe how fast my baby girl is growing up...every moment we spend together is so precious!! So blessed to have you as my daughter Courtney Sage...I love you!!

Blaine and Collin's Special Day

Before the new school year begins I wanted to spend some special Mommy Time with the kids.  I figured that  I would split my time and spend one day with the boys and take Courtney on another day.  So naturally when I asked the boys were they wanted to go the were very quick to respond.  They screamed out , "We Want to go to Chuckee Cheese mom!"  I new this would be the perfect place.  They could run around, get out some energy , and of course have a wonderful time with Mommy!  So we wasted no time, and got dressed quickly and we were off!! The boys had so much fun eating pizza and playing games!  And of course I loved every moment as I watched my boys play!  I love the fact that my boys are still small enough to enjoy their time with Mommy!  It was a great day and a perfect ending to our summer vacation!

I Love Cookies

                                           I Love Cookies

-Ok so let me share with you alittle of what I like to do. Besides spending time with my kids and hubby   I LOVE TO BAKE COOKIES!!!  In my spare time I enjoy baking cookies for my friends and family.  My husband is always telling me to start a little side business , but right now I don't think that would be possible.  It takes a lot of time to bake and decorate them.  My favorite is to make bouquets, but I usually just make them by the dozens.  I  have over a hundred cookie cutters and I am always looking for new ones. If you ever find an interesting one just let me know, I can definately add it to my collection.  I will leave you with some pics of some of my cookies and hope that you enjoy looking at them....sorry that you can't taste them!!!

Star Wars Theme Party

                                                 STAR WARS PARTY THEME
Just wanted to share some of the things that I worked on for Blaine's Star Wars Party that I forgot to include when posting on his party.  It was so much fun getting creative and making things for the party instead of purchasing theme.  I made the invites myself and I thought they turned out pretty well.  The kids loved the Star Wars lightsabers.  They were very cheap and simple to make.  As for the other party stuff, well they were a little time consuming but was well worth it!!!  Hope you like it all!!!

Mommy had a blast planning Blaine's 6th Birthday for this year.  Blaine loves Star Wars so that is the theme we went with for his 6th Birthday!  The kids had a wonderful time sliding on the water slide, eating lots of ice cream, eating Star Wars Cake, spraying one another with water guns and playing with foam Star wars light Sabers made by mommy of course.  Oh and how could I forget the water balloon fight, that was a blast, too.  All in all I would say that the party was a HUGE SUCCESS.  The force was definately with us on this day!!!  Happy Birthday  Blaine Ryan Ashworth!!

"Introducing the 3 Loves of My Life"

I am so excited to be writing my first official post and yes its the most important one of all.  I would like to introduce you to the" 3 Loves of my Life!"  These are my 3 children whom I love and adore dearly.  I thank the lord  each day for giving them to  me .  Without them my life would be dull and boring..and I mean that literally.  They are sweet, loving, and wonderful.  They keep me on my toes and there  is never a dull moment that goes by.  My daughter Courtney Sage was my 1st born and was quit the little surprise.   She is my very "sassy" but sweet girl.  She is very  loving and loves life.  She is my "dancing girl".  She started dancing at the age of 3 and really has a passion for it.  She says one day that she will teach other little girls to dance just as her dance teacher taught her.  I love my daughter dearly and wouldn't trade her for the world!!  My second born is Blaine Ryan.  He is my wildest of all ..or should I say is very "Full of Energy".   Without Blaine, the Ashworth household would not be complete.  He keeps us on our toes and we are always wondering what Blaine is going to do next. He loves trouble and trouble loves him.   He is a mommy's boy at times, but a daddy's boy the most.  He loves to hang out with daddy and go fishing.  Believe it or not he has found a fishing spot that he and his daddy can only go to catch fish.   His motto is "no girls allowed".  Blaine also loves to swing on his swing that his Papa built for him.  He can swing for hours and swing higher that any kid that I've ever seen.  When people use the phrase " he is all boy"...Blaine is the perfect description.   Last but surely not least  we have are handsome little boy Collin James.   Now  if you ask anyone in our family they will tell you that Collin is a true "Momma's Boy".  Collin is always clung to his mommy.  He is sweet, loving, and truly adorable.  His nickname given to him by his sweet little cousin Trak is 'CACA".   And let me tell you that nickname has begun to stick.  Collin is my little sunshine...he is a night owl, but still rises early with the sun.  What can I say he is my little Alarm Clock.   No sleep for Mommy past 7:30am.  He is truly an amazing boy and his passion is listening to books and learning new things from his older siblings.  His favorite sport is watching football with daddy.  And let me tell you boy does he watch that football, and really gets into it.  Boy does that make one Happy Daddy.   Of Course I am also one happy and proud Mommy myself.   My kids are all different , but unique in their own way.   They are all beautiful both inside and out and that is what makes them who they are.
